Went with my mother to see the 1874 operetta Die Fledermaus (The Bat) by Johann Strauss at The Wroclaw Opera yesterday evening. A light and entertaining story with beautiful costumes and great acts of dancing and singing, but I couldn’t help being a bit bothered by the sung German.. it’s just never really romantic.
